Grand total: 60 hours, 35 minutes! (And I know it had to be more than this, since some of you never reported on the blog.)
Congratulations Robin, Elise, and Tricia/Kyle! Let me know what your first and second choices are from the prizes (a stuffed turkey- bow or no-bow, a Santa's Cookies plate, or an unused Nike+ for Ipod Nano), you can see a picture here.
And, I hereby bequeath the duties of determining Banana #3 to Robin, or whoever else has a good idea. :)
Since our family is all over the world, I decided this would be a good way to keep the competitive spirit alive :). In honor of our original DOGGiN 5K I thought it only proper to have each competition be a 'banana'. Let the fun begin!

We drove through a snow storm last week, only to find out that the Denver Temple starts the last session at 4pm every Saturday. I'm still counting the travel time.
20 minutes, Indexing
1 hour 5 minutes, more indexing
3 1/2 hours (would normal be just under 2 hours
Total: 4 hour 55 minutes

Banana #2 Robin
If we are counting babysitting for others while they attend the temple then:
January 7: 2.5 hrs
January 15: 2.5 hrs
Also, I went to a rather long session on Friday as well.
January 28: 3 hrs.
That brings my total to 8 hours.

OK!
I'm fine with counting things that are in direct support of the 3 things originally listed (temple work, personal ancestry work, indexing). So, I guess that includes baby-sitting and travel time. But, I draw the line at journal-writing or blogging (even though it is a form of family history work). We've got to have some limits, right? I've been terrible with this competition, as have most of us. (In my own weak defense, the Denver temple is close right now for maintenance.) Come on everyone, count whatever you've done, I'll even waive the weekly update rule. Let's see how much we work we can get done all together!
Question
I have a question. Can we count time spent baby sitting for people who were attending the temple? Just a thought.

temple trip!
hours spent in temple: 2 1/2 hours
with travel time (including Orlando traffic and accident detours--9 hours in the car): 11 1/2 hours
(that's not including the 3 hour delay at Pep Boys for a replacement screw for something under the car that totally came off and was knocking around while we drove.)
total updated hours= 12 hours 40 min
(without travel time total= 3 hours 40 min)
I didn't get any response to the travel time question so I just totaled both...I'll wait for the judges verdict on that, but for what it's worth, Bren just said, "it totally counts!"...it was a long day yesterday and a little too fresh for us to not be a little biased on this. :)
...can't wait to see everyone elses updates!!!!
